Welcome to another edition of Sounding Out The City...
This week, we dabble in some bass-heavy, psyche-fused classics by the likes of Rita Lee, the Superimposers, and Broadcast.
You'll hear plenty of disco: from the dark and twisted sounds of ESG, to the exotic style of Tito Puente. Along the way, you'll catch a nufunk stomper by Soopasoul, a dash of samba, and a catchy glitch-bomb by Beck called Clap Hands.

My Profile
Driftwood
I started out making mixes for myself to listen to during drives and subway rides. Somewhere along the way, I thought other people might enjoy the music in the mixes as much as I do, so I began posting them.
My wish is simply to share what I consider to be really good yet seldom heard music with others.
You'll hear 30 minute mixes that incorporate rare grooves from the past along with the modern sounds of today, and a dash of various flavours--from latin jazz, to disco, to classic rock, to sample-based beat oriented styles and beyond.
Please leave a comment if you like what you are hearing and share this podcast with others.
